Disbandment

Dear Friends and actually mainly family, I regret to announce that this will be the last entry from me (matt) on The Heart of Avalon. Life motto: its easier to quit than to get people motivated. It seems like no one here really wants to blog, but its chill. You guys might be freaking out. I know what you're thinking. you're thinking "oh no, how will we keep tabs on matt and all the non-exciting stuff that goes on in his life???" well have no fear, I have a .mac account and with that I get to post my own website. so just check that, although its in progress, but I plan on updating it soon, changing the look and such. the website is web.mac.com/m.fitch. anyway, its been a real fun ride. like a a ten foot wave that you take on the head and then you get thrashed in the whitewater for a little bit and then you paddle out again, and almost get past where the waves break and then a rogue set comes in and take you back into the shore. And now a closing poem, writen by me, and my brother jon:

Alas, the end is nie,
this night neigh is deary say die
who knows what was in that pie?
so sad it makes me want to cry

today is new day
its time to say "hooray!"

Hello Media Effects

I thought that since all of you would see my blog today, I would type a little message. This is my house's blog. We actually don't update very often but we definitely have loved having it. Especially when I was in Africa. It was helpful for me to add stuff here so my roommates and I could still know what was going on. I hope you are enjoying our presentation.

Matt's Blog

Ha ha ha ha, I have taken over our blog and now it is all mine... mine for the taking and to write whatever I please... but I'm not sure what to write and joe is talking to me so I can't really think. okay, he's gone now. by the way, i was kidding about taking over the blog. its just that I'm the only one who writes on it and i'm sure that only my family reads it and they probably only check it once every few months because that's how often we write. but, to all the nay sayers: the blog lives! its just that none of us lead really interesting lives. so there isn't too much to write about. and I don't have any cool pictures of snow to put up either, or a wife to do half of the entries. oh well, that doesn't matter.

I thought that since it being the new year and all, that I would post my one and only new years resolution. it is:

I, Matt, for my new years resolution, will just wing it and see what happens.

(i got that from calvin and hobbes, but it's a good one.) anyways, its two thousand and eight. crazy. I thought i'd never live to see the day. this year will be a big year. Graduation for some of us. then jobs, sailing, going abroad, kids, jail, multiple wives, jail again, kids again, and who knows what else. but its cool, cause we'll wing it and see what happens. what's the worst that could happen? (I know mom has a running list in her head right now) but seriously, things will work out because its all been mapped out for us. all we have to do is live our lives as Jesus would, try our hardest, do our best, love others, and be satisfied. So keep it chill. thats all i gotta say...
